After what happened between Joey Barton and ex-Lille star Gervinho, the F.A studied evidence after an appeal was lodged by Arsenal, saying that it was harsh. Gervinho will now start a 3-match ban which means he will miss the games against Liverpool, Manchester United and Swansea City. Since Joey Barton received a yellow card from the referee, he cannot be charge with any sort of violent behaviour. On another note, Alex Song will be charge at a later date for a clear stamp on Joey Bartons calf muscle.
