So, what is currently happening with this Arsenal team? It seems that no-one has the answers to their current issues. For as long as many of us can remember, Arsene Wenger and his sides have given us many a good battle, and they have always been our closest challengers, but this season, something has changed.
We have seen the loss of Cesc Fabregas, who has been indirectly responsible for the loss of form. We say indirectly, because he has always wanted to play for Barcelona, just a bit like our Ronaldo at the time, displaying his affection for his idols; Real Madrid.
In the last two games, Arsenal have not played their natural game of passing the ball around 30 times before they have an effort on goal. They have been just simply ordinary, by drawing against an ordinary Newcastle United side, they lost against yet another ordinary side who have made big-name signings; Liverpool.
In the process of those two games, they have lost the likes of Alex Song and Gervinho to two red cards. We could understand if they were disputable offences, but they were not, and as such, Arsene and his side have to suffer the consequences of their actions.
On the other hand, Arsenal have lost the services of Djourou, Koscielny, Rosicky et al because of injuries, which makes them rather vulnerable, most certainly at the back.
So, could this be the last Arsenal side Arsene manages before he decides to call it a day? Could our most fondest rivals stay within the Top 4 of the Premier league? No matter what happens to Arsenal, one thing is for sure, Arsene Wenger will not be forgotten as he really is one of the best in the game along with Sir Alex. What are your thoughts?
