Well, after what I have just witnessed in the final, there is no doubt that Barcelona are the best team in the world. As for Manchester United, it is back to the drawing board yet again, and to be honest, it is not a bad thing for us to lose tonight, as it will give the owners a kick up the backside. We need to buy players who are capable of doing the job to the maximum of their abilities.
Tonights match was just a one-sided affair and to be honest, if it had been any other team versus Barcelona tonight, the result would have been the same. We were not good enough at the end of the day and now we will have the pre-season games to weed out the dead wood and to get some new players. What are your thoughts on this matter?

So, after a very eventful 15 minutes, we gradually lost the ball to Barcelonas midfield and that is where we clearly lost the game tonight. If we had got a stranglehold on the Barca midfield, we would have had a great chance of winning tonight. Secondly, I felt that someone like Valencia should have played in the place of Fabio, as he is very fit and can run for 90 minutes solid, but there was no way in this world that he was going to get past Abidal tonight. So, when Nani came on tonight, it was like a breath of fresh air, unfortunately it was too late. Another thing, is that Evra had lost all sense of placement, especially for the first goal, instead of being on the inside of Vidic.
Part 2 to follow.

Gutted ..to be honest.. the long-range efforts from Barca complimented their performance.. sad to see Van Der Sar retire without winning the Cup..
But let's look at the positives.. United won 12 titles from the last 20 years and now it's time to cement our position with any possible new signings.

That is exactly what I think too. We will have the money as far as losing finalists is concerned so, it is not all bad news. We have to look to then future.

Oh, how we missed Dimitar Berbatov this evening, such a classy player who would have held the ball up so well against the likes of Pique and Mascherano. All we had done all evening was boot the ball upfield hoping that Little pea was going to latch onto the ball. We lacked composure.
