I thought that if Owen has agreed a new 1yr deal then this might force Berba out of United but i guess Berba will stay..Just read somewhere that he has no intention leaving..This gives us lots of options in the striking dept with youth and experience combined.. Owen signing a new deal as rightly said makes no difference..Anyone know if hes still on the pay as you play deal or has the exact amount been announced?

I think it will stay the same, a pay-as-you-play sort of deal. This hasn't really affected Owens ability to play football and it hasn't stopped his desire to play for us. When he picked up the 19th trophy, he was really happy, and I thought that that would be the last thing we see of him. Now, we have Rooney, Little Pea, Berbatov and Owen as options, and good options as that. Hopefully Owen will get more of a run out this time.

Not to mention Welbeck and Mame will back from loan too and Macheda should now be sent to a premier league club on loan for some experience like norwich, qpr or swansea..

Personally speaking, should they go out on-loan again for next season, then they need to go to a club that haven't won promotion just recently. Teams like Sunderland, Wolves or even Fulham are ok.

But the chances that they will get with the newly promoted teams like QPR, Norwich and Swansea will be regular unlike the established ones..Mame played almost the full first half of the season for Blackburn but kind of disappeared in the second half.. He was mostly benched due to the arrival of Santa Cruz and moreover Swansea and Norwich will be looking for loan deals as they donot have finances to spend big
